A father’s love can change a lot of things. In the mid-1990s, a father changed the way that cold and flu season is handled forever. This father was a trained psychiatrist who spent years helping others find solutions to their problems. And for too long he felt he couldn’t do anything as his son suffered from debilitating symptoms during cold and flu season.

As a psychiatrist, he found that it wasn’t enough just to help a patient find a quick solution to their problem. Strengthening the body might not be simple, but it was a lasting solution, whereas treating each individual’s illness or symptom was not. He developed a new approach to fighting sickness with a holistic approach to colds and the flu.

In order to fulfill his vision, he brought a team of scientists and researchers together. The leading nutrition researchers and health scientists in the field worked hard to produce a solution for the cold and flu season for children and adults alike. That solution was Cold-Fix.
The team worked tirelessly to test and perfect the formula for maximum safety and effectiveness. It officially launched in 2000 and has since spread to over 20 different countries around the globe.

Cold-Fix’s mascot is Petra Penguin, named in honor of the penguin toy that sat in the boy’s bed when he was sick. Today, Petra Penguin is the lovable mascot of Cold-Fix, a brand which has become known around the world for protecting children from the flu.
